As you know , conflicts have grown rapidly in Africa in the last three decades , & pastoral areas are among the most vulnerable sector .We believe that, the UN & its agencies are playing a vital role & having an outstanding contributions on that respect .For these reasons , we invite you to participate as a member of the steering committee of the international conference on conflicts & their impact on pastoral communities , which is organized by the Federal Ministry of Animal Resources & Fisheries (MOARF) in collaboration with Veterinary services organization (Vet- serve ) .
This conference will be held in Khartoum during (October 2oo8 ).
